Job summary

Kumaran Systems, based in Chennai, seeks an ETL/Data QA Automation Engineer to join two resources. You will design data validation tests, automate data quality checks, and integrate tests with CI/CD. The role demands 4–8 years of hands-on ETL and QA experience and strong SQL skills.

You will build Python automation scripts, work with Informatica/Talend/SSIS, and validate data across SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake. A collaborative, structured team environment is offered.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of ETL/Data Testing experience.
• Strong Python and test automation skills.
• Experience with SQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake).
• Familiarity with ETL tools Informatica, Talend, SSIS.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and automation frameworks.
• Understanding data validation and data quality concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute ETL/data validation test cases across source-to-target data flows, transformations, mappings, and reconciliation.

• Perform database validation across source, staging, and target systems.
• Automate data quality checks, reconciliation, completeness, accuracy, and exception validations.

Role: ETL / Data QA Automation Engineer

Experience: 4-8 years

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute ETL/data validation test cases covering source-to-target data flows, transformations, mappings, and reconciliation.

• Perform database validation using SQL across source, staging, and target systems.

• Analyze defects, perform root-cause analysis, and work closely with developers/data engineers for resolution.
