Job summary

R3 Consultant is seeking a Senior Estimation Engineer in Pune to lead estimation, budgeting, and cost control for high-rise projects. You will perform detailed quantity take-offs, rate analyses, and value engineering to maximize profitability while maintaining quality.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, strong coordination with PMs and site teams, and expertise in ERP-based cost management and Excel-driven analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 8+ years in estimation, budgeting, and project costing.
• Experience in high-rise building project estimation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates based on drawings, specs, BOQs, and project requirements.
• Develop project block budgets during planning and tendering stages.
• Perform quantity take-offs and cost calculations.
• Prepare rate analysis for various construction activities.
• Maintain and update standard cost databases and estimation norms.
• Prepare project budgets and establish cost baselines.
• Conduct budget reconciliation by comparing estimated costs against actual expenditures.
• Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor project cost performance and provide MIS reports.
• Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Estimation & Costing

Consumption Analysis & Cost Standards

• Conduct material sampling and study consumption patterns.
• Develop and maintain standard consumption constants for various project activities.
• Analyze productivity and material utilization data to improve estimation accuracy.

ERP & Systems Management

• Feed project estimates, budgets, and cost data into the ERP system.
• Maintain estimation records and cost databases within ERP.
• Generate cost reports and project dashboards from ERP systems.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of cost-related information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• 56 years of relevant experience in estimation, budgeting, and project costing.
• Experience in High-rise Building Project Estimation
