Job summary

Franklin Templeton seeks a seasoned Data Quality & Governance professional to scale AI-enabled data quality solutions within the Enterprise Data Office. You will lead KPI-driven quality controls, embed checks across pipelines, and collaborate with data owners, stewards, and engineering teams to drive reliable analytics and regulatory readiness.

  • 8–10 years of professional experience, including 5+ years in Data Governance and Data Quality.
  • Experience implementing enterprise data quality frameworks and controls.
  • Experience improving data quality through measurable KPIs and governance practices.
  • Experience with data profiling, monitoring, and remediation processes.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience applying AI concepts to quality improvement and automation initiatives.

  • Drive adoption of the enterprise Data Quality Management (DQM) framework.
  • Onboard critical datasets into enterprise quality processes.
  • Design and implement data quality controls and validation rules.

About The Department
  • The Data Quality team within Franklin Templeton’s Enterprise Data Office ensures enterprise data is trusted, governed, and fit for business and regulatory needs. The team partners with Data Owners, Data Stewards, and engineering teams to establish data quality standards, monitor data health, remediate issues, and drive continuous improvement across critical datasets. By embedding quality controls into governance processes and enterprise data flows, the team enables reliable analytics, regulatory reporting, operational efficiency, and effective decision‑making. Team members gain the opportunity to influence enterprise data strategy, modernize governance capabilities, and help scale AI‑enabled data quality solutions across the organization.
How You Will Add Value?
  • You will drive adoption of the enterprise Data Quality Management (DQM) framework.

  • You will leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities within data quality workflows.
  • You will design prompt frameworks for AI‑enabled quality solutions.
  • You will apply AI to automate analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • You will explore emerging agentic AI and machine learning capabilities.
  • You will promote adoption of enterprise Data Quality Management practices.
  • You will create enablement materials, playbooks, and guidance.
  • You will support enterprise data strategy and governance objectives.
  • You will help scale standardized, enterprise‑wide quality capabilities.
What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role?
Experience
  • 8–10 years of professional experience, including 5+ years in Data Governance and Data Quality.

  • Advanced SQL and relational database expertise.
  • Snowflake, Databricks, Oracle, Redshift, or similar platforms.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) services including S3, ECS, and EKS.
