Job summary

Tenerity India is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead multiple engineering teams building scalable cashback and loyalty platforms. You will combine technical leadership, people management, architecture ownership, and hands-on engineering to drive high-quality software delivery.

You will champion AI-enabled practices and collaborate with Product and Security teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions, while guiding modernization and cloud adoption across the stack.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering with leadership experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in software architecture and design.
• Proven microservices and distributed systems experience.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP acceptable).
• Frontend frameworks such as React/Next.js/Angular knowledge.
• CI/CD, DevOps practices, and release management experience.
• Secure SDLC and enterprise security practices familiarity.
• Engineering quality, test automation, and governance focus.

About Role

We’re looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead multiple engineering teams building and scaling enterprise cashback and loyalty platforms. This role combines technical leadership, people management, architecture ownership, hands‑on engineering, and AI‑Enabled Engineering Practices, with hands‑on experience using AI‑assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms, to drive high‑quality software delivery, engineering excellence, and innovation.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering, including 5+ years in Engineering Leadership.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, and SQL/PLSQL.
• Proven experience designing and delivering Microservices and Distributed Systems architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with a cloud platform (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP also acceptable), including serverless technologies.
• Working knowledge of modern front‑end frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Angular.
• Strong expertise in system design, architecture reviews, technical governance, and engineering best practices.
• Experience establishing and driving CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, observability, and release management.
• Solid understanding of Secure SDLC, application security, and enterprise security and compliance practices.
• Proven experience defining engineering quality standards, driving test automation, and ensuring engineering‑owned quality.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑enabled engineering practices and AI‑assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Agentic AI solutions to improve engineering productivity and software delivery.
