• Hands-on experience with large-scale web and mobile app projects is advantageous.

Senior Engineering Manager

As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead the delivery of complex, cross-functional software projects with a focus on technical execution, client satisfaction, and strategic account growth. You will manage client relationships, oversee both offshore and onshore teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. Your ability to align resources, drive collaboration, and deliver results will be key to the success of our global engagements. Experience with data-focused initiatives and the integration of AI-driven solutions is considered a strong advantage. Direct exposure to working with global clients is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Delivery Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for client engagement from a technical perspective, managing expectations, scope, and communication effectively.
• Ensure all deliverables, whether project milestones or ongoing support, are achieved as per the SOW (Statement of Work) with a focus on quality, timelines, and client delight.
• Take full ownership of project planning, budgeting, and delivery, ensuring execution aligns with client business objectives.
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities within accounts, supporting strategic expansion and long‑term partnerships.
• Collaborate with technical leads and business stakeholders to proactively resolve roadblocks and ensure alignment.

Customer Relationship & Account Stewardship

• Act as the principal custodian of assigned accounts, fostering deep, trust‑based relationships with global clients.
• Lead customer relationship management initiatives, including regular check‑ins, feedback loops, and satisfaction tracking.
• Ensure clear, consistent communication across all client interactions and internal updates.

Team Leadership & People Management

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of software engineers, architects, and team leads.
• Handle team performance reviews, career development, mentorship, and conflict resolution.
• Hire and onboard new resources based on project demands, skill gaps, or client needs.

Project & Technical Oversight

• Manage full‑cycle SDLC execution for complex web applications and mobile projects.
• Monitor timelines, quality metrics, and project health indicators.
• Enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure technical consistency across the board.
• Align technology solutions with both current client requirements and future scalability.

Collaboration & Global Communication

• Work with cross‑functional teams in multiple time zones and attend evening meetings as needed.
• Partner with global clients and internal product, design, and operations teams to align deliverables with business vision.

What We Are Looking For

• 8+ years in software engineering, including 4+ years in a managerial or client‑facing leadership role
• Proven success managing project delivery and client satisfaction across distributed teams
• Experience working with global clients in varied sectors
• Strong foundation in SDLC, web and mobile development, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Hands‑on experience with large‑scale web and mobile app projects
• Skilled in resource planning, team scaling, and budget‑conscious project management
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and expectation management skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with Agile tools and methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to managing remote and distributed development teams
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and scalable infrastructure best practices
• Background in data engineering, analytics, or AI projects is a strong plus
• Familiarity with project management tools
• Proficiency with code collaboration tools like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
