This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Technical Consultant | Cloud & Platform Engineering based in India.

This is a senior consulting and delivery leadership role within an AI and cloud-focused practice, combining client engagement, technical delivery, people leadership, and offering development. You’ll own strategic engagements from initial client conversations through executive-level readouts, ensuring scope, governance, quality, and outcomes remain on track. The role involves guiding technical discovery across multi-cloud platforms, platform engineering, identity, networking, security, applications, and data. You’ll lead a small engineering pod, coach team members, and ensure the right expertise is aligned to each engagement. You’ll also help evolve reusable methodologies, playbooks, templates, and delivery standards to make solutions more consistent and scalable. This is an opportunity for an experienced consultant who enjoys solving complex enterprise challenges while shaping both client outcomes and internal capabilities.

Accountabilities

• Own client engagements end to end, from kickoff and discovery through analysis, delivery, and executive readout, acting as the primary customer contact and overall delivery owner.
• Define engagement success criteria, manage scope and Statements of Work, oversee change control, and maintain alignment around outcomes and delivery boundaries.
• Establish and run effective governance and delivery cadence, including standups, status reporting, stakeholder reviews, steering meetings, RAID management, and decision tracking.
• Serve as the escalation point for engagement risks, proactively resolving issues before they affect timelines, scope, quality, or customer relationships.
• Drive quality assurance through peer reviews, readiness checks, and consistent standards for client-facing deliverables.
• Lead a 2–3 person engineering pod, planning work across discovery, analysis, solution development, and executive presentations.
• Set goals for pod members and provide structured coaching, feedback, mentorship, and development support.
• Manage staffing and utilization across sold and internal projects, forecasting resource needs and maintaining a consistent delivery rhythm.
• Maintain strong engagement hygiene, including risk tracking, decision records, documentation, and artifact version control.
• Lead technical discovery and analysis across AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as platform engineering, identity, networking, security, application, and data domains.
• Develop prioritized technical recommendations, including effort estimates, sequencing, and practical implementation roadmaps.
• Translate technical findings into clear, executive‑ready narratives connected to business objectives and measurable outcomes.
• Apply AI‑driven solutions and automation to reduce operational effort, improve analysis, and accelerate delivery.
• Develop and maintain reusable questionnaires, scoring models, templates, methodologies, and other delivery collateral.
• Own and continuously improve solution playbooks, delivery standards, and offering frameworks to increase consistency, scalability, and repeatability.
• Partner with practice leadership to align solution standards with broader delivery frameworks and cross‑functional initiatives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in technical consulting, solution delivery, engagement leadership, cloud engineering, platform engineering, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience owning complex client engagements from initial discovery through final executive presentation and delivery.
• Strong understanding of multi‑cloud environments, with hands‑on or consulting experience across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Broad technical knowledge spanning cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, identity, networking, security, applications, and data environments.
• Proven ability to manage engagement scope, governance, delivery risks, stakeholder expectations, and client relationships.
• Experience leading small technical teams and demonstrated ability to hire, staff, mentor, coach, and develop engineers.
• Strong understanding of utilization management, resource planning, delivery forecasting, and project staffing.
• Ability to conduct technical discovery, analyze complex environments, and translate findings into prioritized recommendations and actionable roadmaps.
• Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts and recommendations clearly to senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Experience developing reusable delivery methodologies, playbooks, templates, frameworks, or consulting offerings.
• Familiarity with AI‑driven solutions and automation approaches that can improve consulting and delivery efficiency.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and accountability.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated commitment to inclusive, respectful, and people‑first leadership.
• Experience working in fast‑paced consulting or professional services environments is strongly preferred.
