Job summary

L&T Technology Services is seeking a Senior Engineer for Yocto Linux and virtualization integration in Bengaluru. The candidate will lead BSP development, kernel feature enablement, and Xen-based virtualization across AMD platforms.

Required 6–9 years of experience with strong Yocto/OpenEmbedded, BSP bring-up, and C programming skills. Collaboration with firmware, validation, and hardware teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have strong hands-on experience in Yocto/OpenEmbedded and BSP development.
• Experience with Linux kernel features, drivers, and boot/debug bring-up.
• Proficiency in C and embedded Linux concepts is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Yocto BSPs and custom Linux distributions.
• Perform Linux BSP bring-up and board enablement on AMD platforms.
• Integrate and customize Yocto layers, recipes, package groups, and build configurations.
• Enable and debug Linux kernel features, device drivers, and platform software.
• Work on Xen virtualization, Dom0/DomU enablement, and virtualization use cases.
• Analyze and resolve system-level issues related to boot, power management, PCIe, memory, and drivers.
• Contribute to Linux kernel, Yocto, Xen, and related open-source projects.
• Collaborate with firmware, validation, hardware, and customer engineering teams.
