The candidate should have 5+ years of hands-on experience, strong C programming skills, and familiarity with Xen Dom0/host OS optimization. Collaboration with platform and validation teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in embedded Linux software development.
• Strong background in Linux boot flow, kernel debugging and performance tuning.
• Proficient in Yocto Project and image optimization.
• Experience with Xen Dom0/host OS optimization and virtualization.
• Strong C programming skills and debugging capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize Linux boot time for embedded and virtualization platforms.
• Improve Dom0/Host OS startup performance in Xen-based systems.
• Optimize Yocto images, recipes, services, and systemd configurations.
• Debug kernel, driver, and boot-sequence bottlenecks.
• Investigate deferred probes, initcall ordering, and service startup dependencies.
• Tune power management and performance for cold boot, warm boot, and low-power states.
• Collaborate with platform, kernel, virtualization, and validation teams to meet boot-time targets.
