Job summary

Elgi Equipments Limited seeks a Quality Engineer - Product QA to perform tests per the test plan and address product complaints. The role operates within ELGi’s in-house R&D environment, contributing to patents and quality processes.

You will work on test plans, QC tools, and root-cause analyses, supporting CTS and CCS implementations while maintaining CTS and QMS awareness across products.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical Engineering degree required.
• 2–4 years in quality and inspections.
• Knowledge of QC tools and procedures.
• Hands-on instrument handling.
• Experience in product testing and test plans.
• Experience with handling customer complaints.

Responsibilities

• Product testing & Test plan creation.
• Knowledge of QC tools and procedures.
• Basic knowledge of SPC, MSA, PFD, FMEA & Control Plan.
• Hands-on experience in instrument handling.
• Basic knowledge of handling customer complaints.
• Initiating / Analyzing field failures.
• Uploading RCA's in CCS after effective implementation of actions in products and maintaining CTS.
• Basic knowledge in QMS.
