Job summary

Sasken Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking a hands-on Test Engineer to contribute to automotive/embedded validation efforts. You will help deploy test plans, monitor progress with a team of eight engineers, and collaborate with the Test Manager and Quality teams to verify test specifications and reports.

The role requires 2–5 years of relevant experience, strong Python scripting, and familiarity with AGILE practices, JIRA, and test equipment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years experience in automotive or embedded validation.
• Experience in manual and automated test development.
• Python scripting knowledge.
• Basic practical experience using test tools such as oscilloscope, function generator, power supply, and CANoe.
• Knowledge in automotive system know-how, testing know-how, Doors Next Generation, ETM, CAPL, C/C++ programming is a plus.
• Experience in distributed systems and vehicle automotive end-to-end knowhow.
• Familiar with AGILE and tools like JIRA for tracking.
• Understanding of telematics products (eCall, remote services etc.).
• Pro-active, self-motivated and a good team player.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in international teams and with international customers.
