Job summary

Sasken Technologies Limited in Bengaluru seeks a QA/Test Lead to drive test strategy for automotive embedded projects. You will deploy test plans, guide a team of eight test engineers, and ensure testing quality standards.

Collaborate with Test Manager and cross-functional teams to verify test specifications and reports. Strong communication and AGILE experience are required to coordinate with international customers.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of automotive/embedded validation experience.
• Experience in both manual and automated test development.
• Good written and verbal communication; team player.

Job description

• Be involved in deploying the test plan/strategy with the sub team (8 test engineers) considering processes, procedures, and testing quality standards.
• Manage, track team progress, provide status summary and identify mitigation actions is there is any risk/issue encountered by team.
• Collaborate with Test Manager, team colleagues in cross discipline and Quality department in verifying and reviewing the test specifications and test reports for the responsible project.

Skills

• Min 2 years experience in automotive industry or embedded system validation.
• Experience in both manual and automated test development.
• Python scripting knowledge
• Basic practical experience using test tool, e.g. oscilloscope, function generator, power supply, and CANoe
• Knowledge in automotive system know-how, automotive testing know-how, Doors Next Generation, ETM,CAPL, C / C++ programming will be an added advantage.
• Experience in working with distributed systems, vehicle automotive End to End knowhow
• Familiar with AGILE and tools like JIRA for tracking purpose.
• Understanding of telematics products (eCall, remote services etc.)
• Pro-active, self-motivated and a good team player.
• Good Verbal and Written Communication skills
• Ability to work in international teams and with international customers.
