Aqilea (formerly Soltia) is seeking an experienced SW Test Automation Lead with 8+ years in automotive software testing. The role focuses on Python and CAPL scripting, plus hands-on automation for ECU validation and verification.

Location is Bangalore / Hybrid, with responsibilities spanning strategy, framework development, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software testing and test automation.
• Strong Python scripting experience.
• CAPL scripting and Vector toolchain expertise.
• Experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, and automotive network testing.
• Knowledge of CAN, LIN, FlexRay and Ethernet protocols.

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

We are seeking an experienced SW Test Automation Lead with 8+ years of experience in automotive software testing and test automation. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Python, CAPL scripting, and automotive communication protocols, along with proven experience in leading test automation activities for automotive ECU validation and verification.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead software test automation activities for automotive embedded systems and ECU validation.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Python and CAPL.
• Create and execute automated test cases for functional, integration, and system-level testing.
• Analyze software requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
• Perform validation of vehicle network communication using CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and related protocols.
• Drive defect analysis, root cause identification, and issue resolution with development teams.
• Mentor and guide test engineers on automation best practices and testing methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

Mandatory Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python scripting.
• Strong expertise in CAPL scripting and Vector toolchain.
• Experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, and automotive network testing.
• Good understanding of CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet protocols.
• Experience in ECU testing, integration testing, and system validation.
• Knowledge of test automation framework development.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Automotive Embedded Systems domain.
• Exposure to AUTOSAR (Classic/Adaptive).
• Knowledge of ASPICE and ISO 26262.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience with HIL/SIL testing environments.
• Exposure to ADAS or Vehicle Platform projects.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Instrumentation, or related field.
