Job summary

LPL's Global Capability Center in Hyderabad seeks a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead platform modernization, designing and delivering scalable, cloud-native solutions and microservices. You will collaborate with product, operations, and engineering teams to define requirements, mentor juniors, and ensure robust, secure software via code reviews.

This role requires staying current with emerging technologies and contributing to architectural decisions across GCC India's

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on platform development and modernization.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architectures (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
• Expertise in designing and implementing microservices architectures and RESTful APIs.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, Go, or C#.
• Solid understanding of database technologies (relational and NoSQL) and data migration strategies.
• Expertise in Kong, Kafka, AWS.
• Should have understanding about Tibco EMS and Data power
• Proficient with AI to drive migrations
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives with minimal supervision.
