Job Description
In your new role, you will:
- Develop and validate AUTOSAR and ISO26262-based microcontroller complex device drivers using peripherals such as ADC, SPI, UART, Timers, PORT for Infineon's Automotive Microcontrollers based on TriCore architecture (AURIX) or equivalent.
- Participate in requirements elicitation and definition phases of the project.
- Design, develop, and implement architecture and code for microcontroller device drivers.
- Establish and promote development strategies and engineering practices.
- Perform static checks (Cyclomatic complexity, MISRA evaluation, Polyspace warnings analysis) and unit testing.
- Assist the CoC Head with work breakdown structures and estimates.
- Support senior engineers in proof-of-concept (PoC) work.
Your Profile
You are best suited for this role if you have:
- 4-8 years of experience in device driver software development, with a strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Embedded system software development and validation experience in C, assembly languages, and SDLC.
- Good knowledge of software unit testing.
- Understanding of microcontroller architecture (16/32-bit) and real-time systems.
- Experience with standards such as AUTOSAR, IEC61508, ISO26262 is desirable.
- Familiarity with development toolchains, including compilers, static analyzers, and unit testing tools.
- Knowledge of debugging tools such as PLS, Lauterbach, etc.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-site team environment.
