Job summary

HiLITE Group is seeking a Civil Quantity Surveyor to develop BOQs aligned with WBS, drawings, and tender packages. You will prepare detailed take-offs for civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works in line with CPWD/IS codes and Kerala standards.

You will coordinate MEP/specialist BOQs, perform unit-rate analysis, and help prepare budgets, cost plans, and procurement recommendations, ensuring accuracy of site measurements and cost reporting.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering required.
• QS or construction cost management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop coded, trade-wise BOQ aligned with project WBS, drawings, and tender packages.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works.
• Prepare item descriptions and technical specifications per CPWD, IS codes, and Kerala PWD/PRICE standards.
• Coordinate MEP and specialist BOQs, including lifts, STP, swimming pools, and fire safety.
• Conduct unit-rate analysis and prepare detailed project estimates, cost plans, and budgets based on market rates.
• Manage drawing discrepancies, RFIs, quantity revisions, and design-related cost changes.
• Prepare tender documents, bid comparisons, commercial evaluations, and procurement recommendations.
• Verify site measurements, interim bills, variations, and final quantities in coordination with site teams.
• Support value engineering, cost control, risk reviews, and monthly cost reporting.
