Job summary

Copeland in India invites applications for a Senior Engineer Quality Assurance to maintain and improve the Quality Management System, define testing methods, and drive CAPA for non-conformities in manufacturing. You will ensure outgoing products meet specifications and customer needs.

The role includes leading technicians, supporting new product releases, and coordinating quality checks across compressor/CDU products, with emphasis on ISO9001 knowledge, measurement/ drawing interpretation, FMEA,

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Quality System Management like ISO9001.
• Knowledge of measurement / engineering drawing interpretation.
• Knowledge of various quality tools / FMEA / Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Quality during manufacturing: Receiving Inspection of critical components against specification and process audits.
• Escalate deviations for CAPA and define screening parameters and sampling plans.
• Monitor screening fallout and initiate improvements to control it.
• Prepare and share quality KPI reports for MIS.
• Lead a team of technicians and support new product release quality checks.

Develop/ define testing / screening methods at various stages of production up to final shipment. Initiate analysis & corrective actions in cases of non compliance. Support building quality systems in new product release project. **Key Responsibilities** **Description of duties & activities*** **Compressor/ CDU Product & Process Quality During Manufacturing :*** Receiving Inspection of Critical Components against Specification* Auditing of critical process control parameters & timely escalation of deviation cases for CAPA* Define quality screening parameters / test methods & sampling plan at appropriate production stages* Monitor fallout at each screening stations- initiate improvement actions to control the same* Prepare & Share quality KPI reports for MIS* **Product Performance & Reliability Testing*** Prepare, execute product performance & reliability test plan* Ensure compliance to specification* Initiate CAPA in case of deviation * **People Management:*** Lead, support & manage team of technicians* Train people with new / additional skill sets * **Support New Product Release*** Review & revise quality check points / test methods & equipment’s* Coordinate to Prepare & execute Qualification plan* Gate keeper for all new product release projects. * **Product / Process Certification (UL/CCC/ISI)** 1.
