Bureau Veritas do Brasil is seeking a seasoned QA/QC professional to perform third party inspections and supervise civil projects, including PEB structures, on-site in industrial settings. The role requires ensuring adherence to QAP and standards, with preparation of reports and close follow-up on identified gaps.

Strong communication, quick grasp of technical issues, and teamwork are essential as you guide juniors and ensure project compliance with client requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate Engineer BE/ B.Tech (Civil) with min. 8 years or Diploma with 11 years of relevant experience in industrial building construction with PEB.
• Knowledge of PMC, Mech NDT tests and material testing preferred.
• Experience in industrial buildings with PEB structures required.

Responsibilities

• Third Party Inspection or QA/QC of Civil Projects including PEB structures on a continuous basis.
• Conduct on-site training for juniors and prepare progress reports, field inspection reports and NCs.
• Follow up on reports to close gaps; adhere to Codes and Standards; QA/QC supervision of construction with PEB activities.
• Review of QAP and Quality Manual.

Job Description:

Purpose of Position

• The job incumbent is responsible for performing QAQC inspections, audits, supervision as per QAP, approved procedure, standards, etc., Should carries out some tasks independently, with minimum supervision, and these may be on well identified or isolated assets.

Major Responsibilities

• Third Party Inspection or QA/QC of Civil Projects including of PEB structures on a continuous basis
• Conducting on-site training for juniors,
• Preparing progress report, field inspection report, NCs, etc based on client’s requirement.
• Follow up the above reports and close the gaps mentioned in the reports
• Adherence to Codes and Standards (Knowledge of Codes and Standards),
• QAQC Inspection /supervision of construction including PEB structure activities as per client requirement
• Review of QAP & Quality Manual

• Must comply the BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations.
• To comply company HSE requirements e.g. policies, Procedures, guidelines etc. and local legal requirements on HSE as applicable
• To take care of own health and safety as well as colleagues and others.
• Immediate reporting of any shortcomings on HSE i.e. any incident, unsafe work practices / conditions to his/her immediate Line Managers.
• Sharing opportunities for improvement on HSE aspects

Qualification and Experience

General:
