What you’ll do

• Go through 3GPP standards, architecture and design documents to develop thorough and in-depth test plans for 5G NR.
• Create plans to test PHY/Stack algorithms and think from an e2e perspective.
• Write test scripts using available test tools, familiarizing with tools and innovating scenarios.
• Build simple or complex test setups per test case requirements.
• Draft test plans on 5G NR features following 3GPP and ORAN standards.
• Execute test cases and validate test status against expectations.
• Understand system logs and test tool logs to debug issues and identify root causes.
• Leverage test expertise to identify improvements and enhancements on the system.
• Debug field logs and identify problems, replicating them in the lab.
• Strategize and implement efficient QA test planning and strategy.
• Rapidly root cause customer issues and replicate customer configurations in a lab environment within limited time.
• Deploy K8S, adapt deployment models to different platforms, and collaborate to stabilize setups.

What you must have

• 5-12 years of experience in interoperability, performance evaluation and troubleshooting of radio access technology protocols.
• Strong experience in RAN 5G testing and feature testing in a laboratory setting.
• Hands‑on experience with wireless test tools such as QXDM, TM500, Channel Emulator, and the like.
• Knowledge of message flows and parameters used in 5G NR procedures.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and Tcl.
• Experience creating complex test plans for 5G and 4G features and root‑causing issues.
• Automation and scripting knowledge is a priority.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Communication or Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
