Job summary

KEC International Limited, the flagship EPC arm of the RPG Group, is seeking a Quality Manager for site-based delivery on a major transmission and distribution project.

You will help the Project Manager establish and implement the quality management systems, maintain project documentation, prepare QAPs and ITPs, coordinate with customers for FAT approvals, and ensure proper calibration of testing equipment while driving NCR prevention and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• EHV Equipment FAT, QAP and installation procedures.
• International QA/ QC procedures.
• Project coordination (preferred).
• Fundamentals of Inspection & Testing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Project documentation with project numbering system as per contract Sop-custodian and document controller.
• Prepare, update and implement project QAP.
• Prepare, review, submit and get the approval of ITP for equipments, method statements for all activities, field QAP for civil, electrical and testing activities.
• Co-ordinate with customer for approval of FAT reports and site inspection for materials of receipt and witness the testing and commissioning activities.
• Ensure all testing equipments are duly calibrated and co-ordinate with testing and commissioning agency.
• Support project manager in planning, supervision, ensuring prevention of NCRs, reporting potential failure and take corrective actions.
• Co-ordination between all functions like Design, Civil, Electrical, HSE, Commercial to ensure compliance as per the project QAP.
• Monitor supplier and contractor performance with respect to approval MQP.
• Prepare and submit periodical report on QA/ QC activities to HO.
• Liable for Quality surveillance of site activities.
• Responsible for internal audit at sites.
