Job summary

DISH Network Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Application Support professional to manage incidents, proactively resolve production issues, and own the production environment.

You will work with Dynatrace, SQL, Apigee and AWS to ensure high availability and performance across telecom&retail domains. Expected to operate in a 24x7 shift pattern, you will drive automation initiatives and collaborate with Development to root-cause issues, delivering robust monitoring, dashboards

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with 5+ years of experience in Application Support.
• Experience using Dynatrace to analyse issues, configure alerts and dashboards.
• Proficient in SQL queries and data modelling.
• Expertise in Apigee / Apigee-x and Siebel.
• Scripting: Python preferred; Shell scripting.
• AWS knowledge including EKS, load balancers, EC2, Route 53, multi-region, CloudWatch.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs; experience with Postman/Ready API.
• Excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of Retail and Telecom domains; ready for 24x7 shifts.

• Perform incident management from start to resolution with root-cause analysis.
• Proactively identify production issues and drive resolution.
• Own the production environment, monitor availability and system health.
• Implement corrective actions and address change requests within SLA.
• Complete assigned tasks for incidents and changes; drive automation targets.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Able to perform effective Incident Management from incident start through resolution, partnering with Development to determine root causes, and driving rigorous Problem Management to follow through on actions
• Proactive identification of production issues and resolution
• Own the production environment, monitoring availability and ensure a holistic system health
• Identify and implement corrective actions to resolve issues in a timely manner
• Complete assigned tasks for change requests and incident tickets
• Resolve issues within SLA
• Achieve 90% automation and reduce manual intervention

Skills, Experience And Requirements

• Engineering degree with 5+ years of experience in Application Support
• Dynatrace - experience in analysing issue, configuring alerts, creating dashboards (minimum of 2 to 3 years)
• SQL Queries - experience in writing complex queries and working with data models (minimum of 2 to 3 years)
• Expert in Apigee, Apigee-x and Seibel
• Scripting/Programming - Python programming preferred, Shell scripting
• AWS - Preferred AWS Solution Architect Associate - should have knowledge around EKS, load balancers, EC2, Route 53, Multi region, Cloudwatch querying a must
• APIs - Good understanding of REST APIs and working experience with Postman/Ready API
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Good functional knowledge around Retail and Telecom
• Ready to work in shifts - 24x7
• Excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills
