DISH Network Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced engineering leader to build and manage multiple high-performance software development teams in Bengaluru.

You will deliver enterprise-grade software, drive end-to-end development, and collaborate cross-functionally to plan releases with onshore and offshore stakeholders. The role requires 14+ years in engineering with 3+ years leading teams of 10–12 developers, deep Java/Spring Boot expertise, and strong architecture experience

Qualifications

• 14+ years of engineering experience with 3+ years leading a team of 10–12 developers.
• 6+ years building enterprise systems with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, databases and caching.
• Experience with cloud solutions (AWS preferred) and DevOps tooling.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
• Familiarity with Agentic Workflows, RAG, and AI-driven engineering concepts.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence global stakeholders.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Build and manage multiple high performance Software Development teams
• Deliver high quality enterprise grade software and managing end-to-end development
• Collaborate across teams to prioritize, plan and execute application releases
• Engage in hands‑on design, architecture, tools/methods with software engineers and architects
• Hire, manage, mentor developers and handle people related issues
• Help team and take responsibility to diagnose, de‑bug and analyze production issues.
• Work with Onshore / Offshore stakeholders on overall delivery
• Implement automation and agentic workflows to drive AI‑first architecture and maximize value realization.

Skills, Experience And Requirements

• Engineering degree with overall experience of about 14+ years with 3+ years of experience in managing a team of 10 to 12 developers.
• 6+ years experience in developing and maintaining enterprise systems built using Java, Spring Boot, Rest API using Microservice architecture and Event driven systems
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, database and caching techniques
• Good experience with any cloud based solutions ( AWS Preferred) and DevOps tools like Jenkins, Gitlab, Kubernetes, etc
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Amazon Q/Kiro, GitHub Copilot) to improve engineering productivity and code quality
• Well versed with building AI solutions using Agentic Workflows, RAG, etc
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to influence technical and executive stakeholders across global teams
