Chart Industries is seeking a Senior Engineer - Production for its Sri City facility in Andhra Pradesh, near Chennai. The role reports to the Head of Production and focuses on planning and managing cryogenic/industrial production lines.

You will oversee production teams, ensure on-time delivery within cost targets, and enforce safety, quality, and continuous improvement practices, including LEAN and Six Sigma, across manufacturing processes.

Formación

• BE / B. Tech in Mechanical with 5 years in cryogenic/pressure vessels or oil & gas industries.
• Experience with welding procedures and ASME codes is essential.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Plan production to meet monthly targets and project schedules.
• Lead production staff with technical guidance on processes.
• Ensure timely targets within cost parameters with management.
• Adhere to Safety, statutory regulations, Quality IMS procedures.
• Use lean tools for continuous improvement and Six Sigma.
• Coordinate with procurement, quality, design, and planning.
• Maintain safe working environment and good housekeeping.
• Define preventive and corrective actions with QA.
• Contribute to new product development and capacity studies.

Position : Senior Engineer - Production

Reporting to : Head - Production

Location : Sri City, Tada, Andhra Pradesh (Near Chennai)

Your Experience Should Be

• BE / B. Tech (Mech.) with 5 years of experience in Cryogenic / Pressure Vessels / Oil & Gas / Boilers industry or any capital goods manufacturing & fabrication industry.
• Should have good knowledge in welding process (TIG,MIG & SAW), testing procedures & ASME codes
• Should Have Good Organizational & Communication Skills
• Should have good people management skills
• Hard working and result oriented approach towards achieving tasks

What Will You Do?

• Plan the production in order to execute the monthly production target and Project Schedule.
• Manage the production employees and give technical support & guidelines related to the production processes.
• Ensure timely accomplishment of production targets within the time frame and cost parameters mutually agreed with the Management
• Compliance to Safety, Statutory Regulations, Quality Management Systems & IMS Procedures
• To create and follow all necessary indicators to evaluate the manufacturing process for continuous improvement practice such as LEAN management and SIX Sigma.
• Reduce the rework and rejection by applying the various tools & process
• To coordinate with all other supporting departments such as procurement, quality control & assurance, Design, and Planning to ensure smooth production work flow.
• Ensure & create safe working environment & good housekeeping in the workshop.
• Define preventive and corrective actions along with the quality representative in the processes inherent to the Quality Assurance System, and removal of non-conformities.
• Participate in the development of new products, conducting pertinent studies, analyzing the production capacity and other relevant.
