Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Power Integrity and EMI/EMC Engineer with 5+ years of experience to drive simulation and validation for high-voltage power modules and chip/package levels. The role involves APAC/Global collaboration with LT Semiconductor teams to optimize on-die decoupling and package decoupling schemes.

Hands-on work with Ansys AEDT, SiWave/HFSS/Maxwell and CST Studio is required, along with leadership duties to mentor junior engineers and ensure EMI compliance across modules.

Qualifications

• BE/MTech/PhD in Electronics/Electrical/Power Electronics engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in power integrity and EMI/EMC engineering.
• Experience with power conversion topologies and high voltage/high power converters.

Responsibilities

• Perform Power Integrity (DC/AC) and EMI/EMC simulations for high-voltage DC-DC converters using tools like Ansys AEDT.
• Deliver power integrity and EMI/EMC solutions for LT Semiconductor products including chip/package and SiC/IGBT modules.
• Design advanced EMI filters and test methods to optimize performance and reduce noise.
• Collaborate with silicon integration, die floor, and package design teams to optimize decoupling and package schemes.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

Power Integrity And EMI/EMC Engineer

5+ Years of experience in power integrity and EMI/EMC Engg with BE/Mtech/PhD in Electronics/Electrical/power electronics engineering.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Experience with various power conversion topologies, DC/AC Inverters, Motor Control, high voltage/high power converters
• Conduct Power Integrity (DC/AC) and EMI/EMC simulations for high-voltage DC-DC converters using tools like Ansys AEDT.
• Delivers power integrity and EMI/EMC solutions for L&T Semiconductor products including Chip/package and SiC/IGBT High voltage Power modules.
• Advanced EMI filter design and test to optimize performance and reduce noise
• Collaborates with the silicon integration team, die floor planners, system hardware and package design team to optimize the on-die decoupling partitions and implement the package decoupling scheme
• Debug support to ensure adherence to Power Integrity (AC/DC) specifications
• Collaborate with test labs to ensure module/system level EMI compliance
• Ability to perform Correlation of pre-silicon analysis/estimations with lab results
• Hands-on expertise in Ansys AEDT, SiWave/HFSS/Maxwell, Dassault CST studio or equivalent simulation suites.
• Signal integrity simulations for high-speed or low speed interface is a plus
• Excellent technical knowhow to drive technical paper and patent filing
• Ability to Lead, mentor and train junior engineers
