UB Heritage in Ahmedabad is seeking a Senior Engineer MEP to oversee the design, coordination, and installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on-site for large building projects.

You will review drawings, lead site inspections, ensure code compliance and safety, and coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to deliver complex projects on time and to high standards.

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Engineer MEP role based in Ahmedabad. The Senior Engineer MEP will oversee the design, coordination, and implementation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise MEP execution at site as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors for MEP services.
• Review MEP shop drawings, layouts, and technical submissions.
• Ensure quality, safety, and timely completion of MEP works.
• Conduct inspections and testing of MEP systems.
• Prepare progress and compliance reports.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong expertise in MEP system design, installation, and coordination for building projects.
• Candidates should possess skills in reviewing technical drawings, conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with building codes and safety standards.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with relevant engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP, calculation and modeling software).
• Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced certifications in MEP or building services are an advantage.
• Candidates should possess 8-9 years of experience in MEP engineering within real estate or construction, preferably on large or complex projects.
• Candidates should possess a strong focus on quality, safety, and sustainable design practices, with the ability to work independently and lead project teams.
