AtkinsRéalis in Bangalore seeks a Senior Highways Engineer to lead multidisciplinary highway design on offshore projects from the Bangalore office. The role requires 8–12 years in consultancy, with expertise in Civil3D/Open Roads/MX design and AutoCAD, and knowledge of major highway design codes.

You will mentor junior designers, ensure quality standards, and collaborate with UK-based clients while delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Expert in Civil3D/Open Roads/MX design and AutoCAD.
• Experience delivering highway projects in consultancy.
• Knowledge of highway design codes (KSA/Qatar/UAE/DMRB/AASHTO).
• Mentoring junior designers and supervising teams.

Your Role

• Qualified Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed College.
• Have relevant experience in the region of around 8 to 12 years inconsultancy business working on highways and related features.
• Experienced user of Civil3D/ Open Roads, MX design, AutoCAD.
• Knowledge in highways design codes and standards. (KSA/Qatar/UAE/DMRB/AASHTHO).
• Experience implementing quality standards and procedures.
• A very good knowledge of working in all applications of MS Office.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Evidence of having successfully delivered highway projects.

About You

• Holdsa Masters Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Expert in the use of Civil3D ,Open Roads road design software and AutoCAD.
• Experience of using AutoDesk Civils 3D for the design of highway schemes.
• Experience of the design of grade separated junctions.
• Experience of the design of pipe drainage networks.
• Working knowledge ofKSA/Qatar/UAE/DMRB/AASHTHO.
• project based supervision of designers and drafting staff.
• maintaining technical quality standards and mentoring junior designers.
• delivering projects to time and budget.
• liaising with UK based customers in a responsive and client focused manner.
• Be highly self-motivated and ambitious.
• Have a track record of technical achievement and client satisfaction within the highways and bridges industry.
• Be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Have the ability to adapt to different cultures and working environments to build rapport with customers.
• Be able to build excellent working relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Have the experience of using written and spoken English within a business environment.
• The position is to be based in Bangalore .
