AtkinsRéalis in Bengaluru, India seeks a Senior Highways Engineer to lead highway design projects using Civil3D/Open Roads and AutoCAD. The role involves mentoring designers, maintaining quality standards, and delivering projects on time and budget.

Ideal candidates have 8–12 years of consultancy experience in highways, and experience coordinating with international clients in multi‑discipline offshore projects. Hybrid work options may apply.

Working in a multidisciplinary team of designers and engineers providing a professional design service to our clients, this is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to develop their international experience with a world renowned consultant.

Your Role

Qualified Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed College. Have relevant experience in the region of around 8 to 12 years in consultancy business working on highways and related features. Experienced user of Civil3D/ Open Roads, MX design, AutoCAD. Knowledge in highways design codes and standards. (KSA/Qatar/UAE/DMRB/AASHTHO). Experience implementing quality standards and procedures. A very good knowledge of working in all applications of MS Office. Good verbal and written communication skills. Evidence of having successfully delivered highway projects.

About You Qualifications & Skills

Holds a Masters Degree in a relevant discipline. Expert in the use of Civil3D ,Open Roads road design software and AutoCAD. Experience of using AutoDesk Civils 3D for the design of highway schemes. Experience of the design of grade separated junctions. Experience of the design of pipe drainage networks. Working knowledge of KSA/Qatar/UAE/DMRB/AASHTHO. project based supervision of designers and drafting staff. maintaining technical quality standards and mentoring junior designers. delivering projects to time and budget. liaising with UK based customers in a responsive and client focused manner. Be highly self-motivated and ambitious. Have a track record of technical achievement and client satisfaction within the highways and bridges industry. Be able to work with minimal supervision. Have the ability to adapt to different cultures and working environments to build rapport with customers. Be able to build excellent working relationships with colleagues and clients. Have the experience of using written and spoken English within a business environment.
