Job summary

CIEL HR in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Engineer Manager to lead modularization and engineering activities for elevator projects. You will prepare and review drawings, layouts and specifications, coordinating with design, production, installation, procurement and project teams.

You will translate customer requirements into technically feasible solutions, help standardize components, ensure compliance with KONE standards and safety regulations, and guide junior engineers while driving process

Responsibilities

• Handle modularization and engineering activities for elevator projects.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, layouts, specifications, and engineering documents.
• Coordinate with design, production, installation, procurement, and project teams.
• Understand customer requirements and convert them into technically feasible solutions.
• Support standardization and optimization of elevator components and systems.
• Ensure projects comply with KONE standards, quality requirements, and applicable safety regulations.
• Identify technical issues and provide effective engineering solutions.
• Support cost optimization and reduction of project lead time.
• Review engineering changes and ensure proper implementation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for technical requirements.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned engineering activities.
• Guide junior engineers and provide technical support to the team.
• Participate in continuous improvement and process-standardization initiatives.
