Job summary

Techno Elevators in Ahmedabad, India is seeking a driven senior design engineer to own BOM creation, deliver detailed drawings, and lead new design and feature development while driving validation through tests.

You will mentor the engineering team, collaborate with Planning, Production and Supply Chain to ensure manufacturability and timely releases, and provide technical support to Sales for feasibility and pre‑engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own BOM creation, control, and accuracy across elevator products.
• Deliver detailed engineering and production drawings aligned to manufacturing needs.
• Lead new design and feature development, including value engineering and modularization.
• Drive design validation through calculations, trials, and testing.
• Manage ECNs and ensure configuration discipline.
• Work closely with Planning, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure manufacturability and timely releases.
• Conduct competition benchmarking to identify feature, cost, and performance gaps.
• Provide technical support to Sales for feasibility and pre‑engineering.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the engineering team.
