Job summary

KONE India is seeking Engineer / Senior Engineer - Layout Engineering to join our mechanical design team in Chennai. You will contribute to GAD preparation, strength calculations, and interface with building drawings.

Candidates should have a BE in Mechanical with 3–6 years of design experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD, CREO, Inventor or SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of experience in Mechanical Design / BOM creation.
• Candidates from Design background are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare GAD for elevators.
• Make strength calculations for the elevator components.
• Make elevator component interface with building drawings.
• Analyse and provide suitable competitive solution for product offerings.
• Interpret the customer requirement clearly and provide solution.
• Coordinate with cross functional team and complete the assigned task on time.

• Educational Qualification – B.E., (Mechanical)
