Job summary

KONE is seeking an Engineer/Senior Engineer in Layout Engineering in Chennai, India. The role requires a B.E. in Mechanical engineering with 3–6 years of mechanical design/BOM experience and strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, CREO, Inventor, SolidWorks).

You will prepare GADs, perform strength calculations, and align component interfaces with building drawings. Experience from a design background is preferred; the position offers a global environment with development opportunities and a collaborative

Qualifications

• B.E., Mechanical with 3-6 years of design/BOM experience.
• Design background is preferred.
• CAD tools knowledge is essential; additional CAD tools are a plus.

• Prepare GAD for elevators
• Make strength calculations for the elevator components
• Make elevator component interface with building drawings
• Analyse and provide suitable competitive solution for product offerings
• Interpret the customer requirement clearly and provide solution
