Job summary

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics with 7+ years of Physical Design experience.
• Experience in floorplanning, CTS, P&R, Extraction, Power IR/EM, DRC/LVS and signal integrity.
• Strong knowledge of place and route and low power methodologies.
• Timing closure and static timing/Crosstalk analysis proficiency.
• Synthesis/DFT concepts and flow understanding.
• Experience with analog IP, hard/soft macros and hierarchical designs.
• Backend tools expertise: Innovus/ICC2, Calibre/PVS, PrimeTime/Tempus, Redhawk/Voltus, StarrCxt/QRC.
• Strong programming in Perl, TCL, Shell and Python; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead floor-planning, CTS, P&R and CTS for large blocks and subsystems.
• Perform extraction, IR/EM checks, and physical verification.
• Drive timing closure and signal integrity analyses across blocks.
• Coordinate with global teams and mentor junior members.
• Maintain design flow adherence and first-pass silicon readiness.
• Travel up to 0–25% as required.

The candidate should have experience with Physical Design tools. The candidate should have in depth knowledge of Innovus/ICC2 tool execution.Location: Chennai, India**Requirements/Qualifications:****Job Responsibilities:**The employee is responsible for complete physical design of multiple large & complex blocks & sub-system implementation from 40nm to 3nm and below technology nodes.
