As a Physical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the company's semiconductor projects by designing and implementing physical layout of integrated circuits. Your work will be essential in ensuring the functionality and performance of our cutting-edge semiconductor products, contributing to the success of our organization in the competitive market.

In this role, you will be involved in optimizing chip floor plans, power grid designs, and implementing design for manufacturability (DFM) techniques. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality semiconductor designs that meet performance, power, and area (PPA) targets. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement physical design methodologies for integrated circuits.
• Optimize floor plans and power distribution networks for efficient chip layout.
• Collaborate with RTL design and verification teams to achieve design goals.
• Perform design rule checks (DRC) and layout versus schematic (LVS) checks.
• Utilize EDA tools for physical design implementation and verification.
• Analyze and resolve design issues to ensure design closure within project timelines.
• Contribute to the development of automation scripts for design productivity improvement.
• Participate in tape-out activities and support post-silicon validation efforts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 5 years of experience.
• Proven experience in physical design of complex integrated circuits.
• Proficiency in EDA tools such as Cadence Innovus, Synopsys ICC, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor processes and design principles.
• Knowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM) and design closure techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts.
