Job summary

Chart Industries in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, is seeking a seasoned Head – Planning to lead production planning, scheduling and budgeting for cryogenic storage tank projects. The role requires deep experience in capital goods manufacturing and strong SAP/PM tools proficiency, with responsibility for coordinating with clients, internal teams and suppliers.

The incumbent will drive project planning, ensure on-time delivery within budget, and oversee document approvals, forecasting and billing

Qualifications

• BE / B. Tech (Mech.) with 20+ years of experience in Cryogenic / Pressure Vessels / Oil & Gas / Boilers industry or capital goods manufacturing.
• Good computer skills with MS Project / Primavera; SAP knowledge is essential.
• Strong production planning, scheduling, forecasting, estimation & budgeting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Review sale orders, budgeting, planning and scheduling of job orders in SAP.
• Organize regular kick-off and interface meetings with internal stakeholders and escalate project issues for timely resolution.
• Coordinate with client for approval of technical documents (QAP, process sheet, drawings) and ensure timely receipt of approvals.
• Monitor and direct activities for execution of project scope within budget and time targets.
• Handle project handover with customer and project closure.
• Coordinate with client on project progress, planning, scheduling, and resolution of technical concerns.
• Communicate project requirements and procedures to all parties and ensure alignment to objectives.
• Analyze delays in procurement of critical/long-lead items and maintain readiness checklists.
• Provide management with deviations from schedule and advise recovery actions; expedite logistics for on-time materials delivery.
• Plan billing and dispatch of products with appropriate documents; manage final technical and commercial documents and payments.

Your Experience Should Be...

BE / B. Tech (Mech.) with 20+ years of experience in Cryogenic / Pressure Vessels / Oil & Gas / Boilers industry or any capital goods manufacturing industry.

Good computer skills with MSProject/ Primavera

Good knowledge in SAP is must.

Should have good knowledge in Production Planning, Scheduling, Forecasting, Estimation & Budgeting

What Will You Do?

• Sale order review, budgeting,planning, & scheduling ofjobordersin SAP.
• Organize regularkick off /Interface meetingswith internal stake holdersand escalatetheprojectissues / concerns for timely resolution by internalprojectteams.
• Co-ordination with client for the approval of technical documents like QAP, process sheet, Drawings etc and ensuring timely receipt of approved documents.
• Monitor, control and direct all aspects of activities for the execution of nominatedprojectscope to achieve completion within defined budgetary and time delivery targets.
• Handing over formalities with customer andProjectclosure.
• Co-ordination with client / customers regardingprojectprogress, projectplanning / scheduling, resolution or areas of concerns and technical issues.
• Ensure that specificprojectrequirements and procedures are communicated to all parties, team members, sub-contractors, etc., and that all activities are coordinated to ensure meeting the commonprojectobjectives.
• Analyze delays in Procurement of Critical and Long Lead items.
• Maintain Checklist for Readiness of variousProjectActivities.
• Advise to the management on any deviations from authorizedprojectschedule in a manner as to best effect recovery to original plan.
• Monitor and expedite logistics supports for on time delivery ofprojectmaterials
• Planning for billing and dispatch of products with suitable documents.
• Final technical and commercial documents submission and payment follow-up
