Job summary

Sansera Engineering in Bengaluru seeks an experienced EHS professional to lead safety, health and environmental initiatives within a manufacturing setting. The role involves ensuring firefighting readiness, conducting audits, and driving preventive actions across the plant.

The candidate should hold a Diploma or post-diploma in industrial safety with 6-8 years of relevant experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work in shifts, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements

Qualifications

• Diploma in Industrial Safety is required.
• 6-8 years’ experience in EHS in manufacturing.
• Good communication in English and ability to work in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic testing of firefighting equipment (fire extinguishers, fire alarm, Fire Hydrant System & smoke detectors).
• Ensure effective fire prevention through proactive identification and development of counter measures.
• Conduct internal/external audits and follow up for corrective/preventive actions.
• Provide Safety, Occupational Health & Environmental training/awareness to employees and new joiners.
• Ensure site has periodic environmental & industrial hygiene monitoring program, equipment and machinery inspection.
• Carry out plant safety inspections/audits and identifying near misses, unsafe acts & unsafe conditions.
• Knowledge of behaviour based safety (BBS).
• Conduct regular training for the correct usage of PPE and highlight non-usage during audits/rounds.
• Carry out accident/incidents investigations and initiate corrective actions.
• Exposure in EOHS (ISO Standards) and documentation, ESG requirements.

Job description
