Job summary

ReNew is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with 6–9 years of experience and a Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. The role requires an Electrical Supervisor license and hands-on work with substations, transmission lines, and HV/EHV assets.

You will coordinate with LDC, plan PTWs/LCPs, and ensure asset integrity at site. Responsibilities include maintenance, documentation, SAP work orders, and training of personnel, with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Electrical License - Supervisor/C License holder.
• 6-9 years experience in the electricity sector.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, and HV/EHV assets.
• Knowledge of ISO and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure round the clock availability of substation and transmission line at site.
• Communicate with LDC regarding forecasting and scheduling.
• Undertake PM, BM of eBoP assets and maintain documentation.
• Plan and execute all eBoP PTWs and LCPs at the site.
• Handle CTU sites and RLDC basic experience.
• Track contractual employees and maintain spares and consumables.
• Update work orders in SAP and minimize shutdown hours.
• Troubleshoot HV/EHV and substation asset issues.
• Adhere to safety, audit readiness and HSE practices.
• Train employees on various subjects and testing of equipment.

Job Description

Experience- 6-9 years

Education- Diploma/ BE/ B.Tech- Electrical Engineering

Electrical License- Supervisor/C License holder

Role & Responsibilities-

• Ensure round the clock availability of substation and transmission line at site.
• Ensuring proper communication with LDC regarding forecasting and scheduling.
• Undertake PM, BM of eBoP assets and maintain necessary documentation as per the standards.
• Planning and executing all eBoP PTWs and LCPs of the site.
• CTU sites handling and RLDC basic experience.
• Keeping track of all contractual employee and maintaining spares and consumables.
• Updating workorders in SAP and minimizing shutdown hours.
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving HV, EHV and substation asset issues.
• Knowledge of various standards i.e. ISO etc.
• Participating in audits for betterment of system.
• Ensure good HSE practices at site.
• Training the employees on various subjects.
• Testing of a circuit breaker, Current Transformer, Potential Transformer, Isolator, Lightning arrester, wave trap, CVT, SCADA, Protection relays and transformers.

Technical Skills

Working knowledge of eBOP (Transmission line & substation).

• Knowledge of SAP.
• Familiar with protection relays.
• Working knowledge of PTW and LCP system.
• Software Knowledge – MS-office.
