Job summary

LTM is seeking a Network Engineer Operations to oversee daily network operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of our infrastructure. The role focuses on uptime, security, and reliability, coordinating with IT teams and vendors for issue resolution.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on firewall experience (Palo Alto and Cisco), strong routing knowledge (OSPF/BGP), and familiarity with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark. Hybrid/onsite work possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls is must.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Strong understanding of firewall rules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day network operations and maintenance.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure uptime, security, and reliability of network infrastructure.
• Provide Level 2/3 support for network-related incidents.
• Work with ISPs and vendors for outages and performance issues.
• Configure and install network devices including switches and VPNs.
• Implement VLANs, QoS, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
• Manage IP addressing and DNS configurations.
• Conduct routine health checks and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain network diagrams, configurations, and SOPs.

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer Operations to oversee the daytoday operations of our network infrastructure The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring maintaining troubleshooting and optimizing network performance while ensuring security and reliability You will work closely with IT teams and vendors to support business operations and resolve networkrelated issues Its 247 support system

Key Responsibilities

• Network Monitoring Maintenance
• Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds
• Ensure uptime and availability of network devices including routers switches firewalls and VPNs
• Conduct routine network health checks and preventive maintenance
• Diagnose and resolve network issues related to latency connectivity and security
• Provide Level 23 support for networkrelated incidents and elevate as needed
• Work with ISPs and vendors to resolve network outages and performance issues
• Configure and install network devices including switches firewalls and wireless access points
• Implement and maintain VLANs QoS and routing protocols OSPF BGP EIGRP
• Manage IP address allocation and DNS configurations
• Ensure network security by implementing firewall rules and VPNs
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with security policies and standards

Documentation Reporting

• Maintain detailed network diagrams configurations and SOPs
• Generate network performance reports and incident logs for analysis
• Keep records of hardware and software inventory
• Work with crossfunctional IT teams to support business applications and cloud services
• Assist in network capacity planning and upgrade projects
• Provide technical guidance to team members and IT support teams

Required Skills Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or a related field or equivalent experience
• Knowledge on Palo Alto firewalls is must
• Handson experience with Cisco Palo Alto firewalls
• Should have strong understanding of rules creation in Palo alto firewalls
• 3 years of experience in network operations administration or engineering
• Strong knowledge of TCPIP routing protocols OSPF BGP and LANWAN concepts
• Proficiency in network monitoring tools Wireshark SolarWinds
• Familiarity with security protocols firewalls VPNs and wireless networking
• Knowledge of SDWAN is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Certifications Preferred

• Rotational oncall support may be required
