At LTSI, we are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Engineer – Cabin System Configuration to join our Engineering Services team. In this role, you will support the evaluation and implementation of cabin system configuration changes for the Bombardier Global 7000/8000 aircraft series using customer-provided engineering data, drawings, layouts, and technical records.
Responsibilities
Cabin System Configuration Engineering
- Evaluate Support cabin system configuration activities primarily for Bombardier Global 7000/8000 aircraft programs in accordance with customer requirements and established engineering processes.
- Analyze technical data, drawings, specifications, and layouts to support cabin system configuration, engineering changes, and configuration control activities.
- Develop, maintain, and update engineering documentation, including System Design Documentation (SDD), to support cabin system configuration activities.
- Ensure documentation deliverables are accurate, complete, and aligned with approved engineering and configuration baselines.
Execution & Operational Support
- Manage assigned tasks/work packages with minimal supervision, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate effectively with customer teams, engineering disciplines, and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure successful project execution.
- Contribute to the enhancement of engineering processes, documentation practices, and data management methods.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Industry Experience: 2–4 years of experience in aircraft cabin systems, configuration engineering, and engineering documentation.
- Technical Expertise:
- Hands‑on experience or exposure to aviation technical documentation (AMMs, CMMs, SBs, ADs etc.).
- Strong understanding of aircraft cabin systems, cabin layouts, system integration principles, and aircraft configuration management.
- Good knowledge of engineering documentation, System Design Documentation (SDD), engineering change processes, and design-data management practices.
- Engineering Systems and Tools:
- Experience working with ENOVIA/VPM Nav and Catia V5 for design review, data extraction, and engineering analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, and data handling tools such as Power BI will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work independently and effectively within global multidisciplinary teams.
