Job summary

Brillio in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a Senior Engineer, Applications & Platforms to design and implement enterprise integration and API management capabilities. You will shape the platform control plane and drive scalable, secure integrations across environments.

You will own API lifecycles, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and multi-tenant RBAC, working with Mulesoft, API gateways, and cloud-native tooling to enable rapid, reliable platform updates.

Qualifications

• At least 7+ years of hands-on experience in integration middleware engineering.
• Experience with Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, API management, and OAuth2/OIDC.
• Ability to define and manage multi-tenant architectures with RBAC.
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure-as-code.
• Knowledge of secrets management and enterprise identity providers.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement foundational control plane services for integration and API management, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Develop catalogs for integrations, connectors, APIs, and policies, driving platform extensibility.
• Manage API lifecycle processes including creation, publishing, versioning and deprecation.
• Enforce robust API authentication (OAuth2/OIDC), API keys, quotas, throttling and rate limiting.
• Integrate with API Gateways such as Kong or APISIX, optimizing for performance and security.
• Configure and optimize load balancers and runtime managers for uptime and efficiency.
• Establish DEV/TEST/UAT/PROD environments with automated promotion and rollback procedures.
• Define and uphold CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code standards for deployments.

Job requirements

• Enforce robust API authentication, authorization, OAuth2/OIDC, API keys, quotas, throttling, and rate limiting to ensure secure access control.
• Integrate with API Gateways such as Kong, APISIX, or equivalents, optimizing for performance and security.
• Configure and optimize load balancers and runtime managers to maximize platform uptime and efficiency.
