Job summary

Brillio Bengaluru seeks a Senior Engineer, Applications & Platforms with 7+ years of experience in integration middleware, spanning Mulesoft, Boomi, Workato, and similar platforms.

You will architect core control plane services for enterprise integration and API management, develop catalogs for integrations and APIs, and drive secure API lifecycles with OAuth2/OIDC, quotas, and policy enforcement, while validating with Kong or APISIX.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in integration middleware engineering with platforms like Mulesoft, Boomi, Workato.
• Architect and implement foundational services for enterprise integration and API management.
• Define catalogs for integrations, connectors, APIs, and policies to enable extensibility.
• Apply secure API authentication, authorization, OAuth2/OIDC, quotas, and rate limiting.

Responsibilities

Job requirements

Experience Range:

With at least 7 + years of hands-on experience in integration middleware engineering, specifically working with platforms such as Mulesoft, Boomi, Workato, and similar tools in product environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement foundational control plane services for enterprise integration and API management platforms, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive catalogs for integrations, connectors, APIs, and policies, driving platform extensibility.
• Manage API lifecycle processes including creation, publishing, versioning, and deprecation, delivering seamless platform updates.
• Enforce robust API authentication, authorization, OAuth2/OIDC, API keys, quotas, throttling, and rate limiting to ensure secure access control.
• Integrate with API Gateways such as Kong, APISIX, or equivalents, optimizing for performance and security.
• Configure and optimize load balancers and runtime managers to maximize platform uptime and efficiency.
• Establish and manage DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD environments, implementing automated promotion and rollback procedures.
• Define and uphold CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code standards, ensuring consistent and high-quality deployments.
