Requirements
Any Graduation/Diploma in Engineering / Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME), or an equivalent technical qualification is preferred.
Review and validate engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOM), and technical manufacturing documentation.
Create and modify manufacturing and assembly routings, including associated task management in ERP/PLM systems (e.g., SAP, CATIA V5, 3DEXPERIENCE, MIS).
Demonstrate a good understanding of assembly processes, manufacturing methods, and process planning, including the creation and modification of Standard Operating Instructions (SOIs) and released manufacturing processes.
Create and modify repair routings based on non‑conformities, design queries, concessions, engineering changes, and configuration management requirements.
Participate in Multi‑Functional Teams (MFT) / Cross‑Functional Teams (CFT) for risk analysis, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement.
Analyze 2D engineering drawings and 3D Digital Mock‑Ups (DMU), perform manufacturability and feasibility assessments, and provide technical feedback to the Design Office on tolerancing, geometry, key characteristics, torque values, and manufacturing improvements.
Understand assembly tooling requirements, tooling selection, validation, and usage during manufacturing and assembly operations.
Possess good knowledge of engineering drawing interpretation, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and manufacturing principles.
Familiar with aerospace manufacturing standards, configuration management, engineering change management, and product lifecycle processes is advantage.
Experience Lead / Senior Manufacturing Engineer: 4–8 years of relevant experience.
Manufacturing Engineer: 1–3 years of relevant experience.
Experience in the aerospace or aerostructure industry is an added advantage.
Experience with CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) is an added advantage.
