Job summary

Acesoft Labs in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Electrical Product Design Engineer to lead design and development of automotive-type components, converters and inverters for HVAC and transport refrigeration systems. You will perform DFMEA, develop test plans, document power electronic components, and coordinate regulatory testing with external agencies (HALT, EMC).

Proficiency in Matlab/Dymola for modeling is required, with 5+ years in the field and knowledge of safety standards for AC/DC

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in electrical product design and development.
• Hands-on DFMEA and test plan development and execution.
• Documentation of power electronic components including drawings and specifications.
• Coordination of regulatory testing (HALT, EMC) with external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of AC/DC voltage safety standards and protocols.
• Modeling and simulation of electrical components using Matlab/Dymola.
• Experience with New Product Development (NPD) processes and milestone deliverables.

Role & responsibilities

• 1. Design and Development of Automotive type component s, converters, inverters for HVAC &
• Transport Refrigeration systems.
• 2. Hands on experience in developing component DFMEA and test plan development and execution.
• 3. Create detailed documentation of power electronic components, including detailed specification
• drawings and Application Specification Documents.
• 4. Co-ordination of any required regulatory testing of Electrical / Electronic solutions at external
• agencies, including HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Test), EMC (Electro Magnetic Compatibility)
• testing, as required per regulatory standards
• 5. 5+ years' experience in electrical Product design and development.
• 6. Knowledge and ability to work within New Product Development (NPD) Process, with innate
• understanding of documented prerequisites and Milestone deliverables.
• 7. Knowledge of relevant electrical safety standards and protocols applicable to AC/DC
• voltage systems.
• 8. Able to perform Modelling and simulation of electrical components using Matlab / Dymola tool.
