Job summary

Shri Krishna Placement is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for Vadodara with 4-9 years of Oil & Gas, Chemical or EPC experience. The role involves hands-on electrical design, equipment sizing, SLD preparation and power system studies.

You will work on transformer sizing, cable routing, and coordination with clients and onsite teams to ensure project delivery. Candidates should have a BE/BTech in Electrical, strong familiaritiy with relevant standards, and experience with DIALux/ETAP/SKM

Qualifications

• 4-9 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Chemical, EPC or related projects.
• Hands-on experience in electrical design, equipment sizing, SLDs and electrical layouts.
• Proficient in load lists, cable schedules and power system studies.
• Familiar with international electrical standards and hazardous area requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design LV/HV electrical systems and size transformers, cables, panels and UPS.
• Prepare SLDs, electrical schematics, load lists and metering/protection diagrams.
• Develop lighting layouts and cable routing plans for projects.
• Create technical specifications for transformers, motors, DG sets and other equipment.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors and onsite teams to ensure timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities & Technical Skills

• Electrical Equipment Sizing: Sizing of transformers, HV/LV cables, HV/LV panels, AC-UPS, battery systems, substations, and conduits.

• Hazardous Area: Knowledge and exposure to hazardous area classification and electrical installation requirements.
• International Standards: Working knowledge of IEEE, ANSI, NEC, UL, NEMA, IEC, and other applicable electrical standards.
• Technical Evaluation: Preparation of technical bids, tender documents, technical bid analysis (TBA), and vendor evaluation.
• BOQ/BOM: Preparation of electrical Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Coordination: Coordination with clients, vendors, consultants, and onsite execution teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
