Job summary

Tathastu Architects in Gujarat seeks an experienced Civil Draftsman to join our design team for preparing technical drawings and documentation for architectural projects. Preference given to candidates who can manage drawing tasks independently.

The role focuses on producing 2D drawings using AutoCAD, with RCC, plumbing, and site layouts. Knowledge of Revit/SketchUp and MS Excel is valued; experience with GDCR/bylaws is desirable.

Qualifications

• ITI Draftsman (Civil) or Diploma in Architecture
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D drafting and detailing
• Familiarity with Revit/SketchUp is preferred and MS Excel basics helpful

Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D drawings (plans, sections, elevations) using AutoCAD (2D essential)
• Assist in converting concepts into technical drawings
• Maintain documentation and version control of drawings
• Coordinate with project engineers, architects, and site teams
• Independently prepare detailed GFC and working drawings
• Draft RCC, plumbing, drainage, and site layouts as per scope
• Review drawings based on site inputs and consultant feedback
• Ensure compliance with GDCR/bylaws and technical accuracy
