Virtusa in Pune, Maharashtra, invites an experienced full‑stack engineer to design and deliver scalable REST APIs and microservices, collaborating across teams to meet demanding business needs. Qualifications

• 6+ years of industry experience as a full-stack engineer (5 years will be considered if strong).
• Experience in building REST APIs and Microservices.
• Understanding of event-driven communication and resilient microservices design.
• .NET Core / .NET 6 / .NET 8 experience.
• Expertise in Java or C# with strong OOP concepts and design patterns.
• Monitoring with Grafana or Prometheus is desirable.
• CI/CD practices and deployment tooling (Git, TeamCity, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Octopus).
• Databases such as MSSQL, Oracle or Postgres.
• Cloud knowledge (AWS) is a strong asset.
• Soft skills: excellent communication and Agile methodologies.

Job description

• Experience: 6+ years of industry experience as a full-stack engineer (5 years will be considered but must be strong)
• Development Methodologies: Experience in building REST APIs and Microservices, understanding Event driven communication, Resilient design and design patterns of microservices for distributed systems is mandatory, utilizing either
• .NET Core/.Net 6/.Net 8 Streaming platforms like Kafka are good to have as well. (Dotnet Core 6+)
• Programming Languages: Expert in either Java or C# with sound knowledge of OOPS concepts and design patterns.
• Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana or Prometheus is desirable.
• CI/CD: Any Git tool for source control. Build tools like TeamCity or Jenkins or GitHub Action and experience with deployment tooling like Octopus or similar.
• Databases: Either of the relational databases like MSSQL / Oracle/ Postgres.
• Cloud: Any Cloud offering knowledge is a very strong asset. (Preferred AWS)
• Soft skills: Excellent communication skills. Working experience with Agile methodologies.
