Job summary

Pi Square Technologies in India looks for a software engineer to design, develop, and improve digital products and technology services for clients and employees. You will apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing features to automated testing and deployment.

You will ensure quality, security, reliability, and compliance by applying digital principles and implementing functional and non-functional requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong experience with C# and .NET Core (including APIs using .NET 6 or later).
• Experience with Azure services such as AKS, Web Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Storage, Key Vault.
• Experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, and microservice/event-driven architectures.
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Proficiency in React and TypeScript/JavaScript, CSS3/HTML5.
• Familiarity with Agile, TDD, and DevOps practices.
• Good communication and learning mindset.

Role & responsibilities

Design, develop, and improve the digital products and technology services we provide to our clients and employees

apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment

ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements

build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues

understand, represent, and advocate for client needs

share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, help with hiring, and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities

Bachelors and/or Master's degree or equivalent focusing on Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Strong experience with C# and .NET Core (Experiences with developing applications framework, APIs using .Net 6 or later)

Azure Services (AKS, Containers, Web-Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, Key vault)

Experience with Messaging platforms, ideally Kafka.

Experience with Containers, ideally Kubernetes.

Experience with Microservice and Event-Driven architecture is beneficial.

Good understanding and experience with object-oriented design, Design Patterns & SOLID principles.

Understanding of Multi-threading

Experience with Cloud architecture and engineering is beneficial, ideally on Microsoft Azure (Kubernetes Service, Container Apps, App Service, Functions, Event Grid and Service Bus).

Experience with React and TypeScript/JavaScript.

Experience with CSS3 and HTML5.
