Job summary

Jero Technologies in Kolkata, India, is seeking an experienced backend engineer to design and implement scalable services using C# and .NET Core. You will build RESTful APIs, apply asynchronous patterns, and contribute to a robust, multi-tenant platform.

You will work with Docker and Kubernetes, implement CI/CD and GitOps, and focus on performance, security, and observability. A strong foundation in OOP, data structures, and testing (TDD) is essential.

• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and RESTful API development.
• Experience with asynchronous programming, concurrency control, and event-driven architecture (Pub/Sub, Kafka, etc.).
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks and a TDD approach to development.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) for containerized applications.
• Strong knowledge of performance tuning, security best practices, and observability (monitoring/logging/alerting).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm, or similar).
• Exposure to multi-tenant architectures with strong understanding of NFRs, including tenant isolation strategies, secure resource partitioning, performance profiling across tenants, shared vs. isolated resource models, and scalable, resilient design patterns for onboarding and operating multiple tenants concurrently.
