Senior Director - RCM
Senior Director – Responsibility Management Center (RCM). Reports to Principal. Department: Huron Healthcare RCM Group.
Location & Working Hours
Location: Bangalore, India. 5 days a week; willing to work shifts, including night shifts.
Summary
The Senior Director is accountable for successful delivery of all assigned transition projects. Responsibilities include initializing, planning and implementing projects, tracking and reporting deliverables, managing risk, applying project‑management processes and tools, and ensuring projects are completed timely with high client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate, plan, implement and manage transition projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Track and report project deliverables, manage risk, and apply project‑management tools and processes.
- Maintain robust client relationships and stay current on revenue‑cycle management (RCM) processes and performance service‑level agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and contractual obligations.
- Develop knowledge base among team members on domain and process issues.
- Drive quality‑improvement initiatives to avoid penalties and manage the P&L for the process.
- Oversee financial aspects, including budget monitoring, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Provide strong people leadership: manage team performance, conduct reviews, handle attrition, and address disciplinary matters.
- Coordinate with clients on process issues and provide timely updates on project progress.
- Implement efficiency improvement projects using lean/sigma methodologies.
- Ensure all MIS reports are delivered on schedule and participate in conference calls as required.
- Assist in maintaining quality of work, educating team members, and recommending improvements to enhance productivity.
- Serve as the final escalation point for issues concerning HR, administration, quality, and finance.
Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in US healthcare RCM (revenue‑cycle management) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and quantitative skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; clear, concise, and neutral accent.
- Experience managing P&L and financials in an RCM environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and project‑management software.
Skills & Knowledge
- Knowledge of US healthcare industry, RCM processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Team‑handling skills required; ability to develop and mentor staff.
- Experience with performance‑based metrics (SLAs, KPIs) and quality improvement.
- Apply lean/sigma and other efficiency‑improvement methodologies.
- Strong financial acumen – understanding of revenue cycle metrics and P&L management.
