Job summary

Clarivate is seeking a Senior Director, IP Service Operations in Noida, India. This full-time role leads Patent and Trademark Renewals operations, driving compliance, efficiency, and scalable delivery across high-volume portfolios.

You will guide cross-functional teams, partner with Legal, Finance, and Technology, and champion Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to reduce defects and enhance control maturity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of experience in people leadership and management roles.
• Experience leading complex, compliance-sensitive, transaction-heavy operations.
• Experience within Intellectual Property operations preferred; proven track record of technology-enabled transformation at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution consistency, compliance, and adherence to defined operational processes and controls across IP Renewals.
• Drive operational stability through preventive controls, standardization, and automation with accountability for incident avoidance.
• Lead technology-led transformation initiatives including automation, system integration, workflow digitization, and reduction of manual dependencies.
• Oversee high-volume, high-value financial transactions, ensuring zero-defect delivery, financial accuracy, and prevention of revenue leakage.
• Promote standardized ways of working across global teams, reducing dependency on individual judgment and local practices.
• Serve as an operational partner to Senior Leadership by providing early risk signals, execution transparency, and data-driven insights.
• Own and evolve global operating models to support scale and organizational change.
• Define and govern operational KPIs and performance metrics; ensure a single source of truth across systems.

About the Team:

The Team is responsible for leading largescale Patent and Trademark Renewals Operations, with primary accountability for execution discipline, financial accuracy, compliance, and operational risk mitigation.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time role requiring 40 working hours per week based out of Noida, India (IST). Work Mode-Hybrid as per Clarivate location
