Job summary

HDFC Securities Ltd. is seeking a seasoned DevSecOps professional to design and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS with EKS.

You will build and monitor CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Argo CD, integrate security tooling, and collaborate with compliance teams to enforce best practices. The role requires hands-on Kubernetes experience (EKS, OpenShift) and strong scripting skills, plus familiarity with monitoring stacks like Dynatrace, Grafana, and ELK.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of DevSecOps and cloud operations experience in IT environments.
• 3+ years of AWS experience.
• Strong understanding of DevOps and Agile practices.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, EKS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure architecture on EKS.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Argo CD.
• Integrate SAST/SCA/DAST/IAC security tooling with GitLab.
• Manage GitLab platform and related tooling.
• Administer Kubernetes clusters including EKS, GKE, OpenShift, and monitoring setups.
• Collaborate with security/compliance to enforce security best practices.
• Work with DevOps tools chain: GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform.
• Set up monitoring with Dynatrace, Grafana, and ELK.
• Scripting in Shell or Python for automation.
• Knowledge of Lambda, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Redis.
• Provide ops support for large AWS cloud environment in production/UAT.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code for lifecycle ops, monitoring, cost optimization, backups.
• Create and maintain onboarding and operating procedures for cloud environments.
• Coordinate with security vendors and define SLAs.
• Ensure uptime of platform infrastructure.

Job description

Role & responsibilities:

• 1. Design, develop, and build the cloud infrastructure architecture on EKS.
• 2. Experience in build and managing CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab, Argo
  CD
• 3. Integrating security tools for SAST/SCA/DAST/IAC with Gitlab
• 4. Managing Gitlab platform.
• 5. Expert in EKS,GKE, Kubernetes service mapping, configuration, and monitoring setup, provide administration
• 6. Experience on container orchestration technologies Kubernetes,
  Red Hat Open Shift, Docker,
• 7. Collaborate with compliance and security teams to ensure optimal
  configuration of Kubernetes clusters for security best practices.
• 8. Advanced experience in working with DevOps tools chain - Gitlab,
  Jenkins, Terraform
• 9. Experience with monitoring solutions such as Dyatrace, Grafana &
  ELK
• 10. Experience with scripting (Shell, Python etc.,)
• 11. Knowledge in Lambda, Cloud function, Cloud SQL, Big query, Redis.
• 12. Provide advanced system administration, operational support and
  problem resolution for a large complex cloud computing environment in
  AWS platform
• 13. Write Infrastructure as Code to Manage and Operate end-to-end
  lifecycle operations (monitoring, alerting, security, cost optimization,
  configuration, backup etc.) in production and UAT environments
• 14. Design, create, develop, own and maintain operational procedures
  for onboarding, managing cloud environments to meet defined SLAs.
• 15. Collaborate with compliance and security teams to ensure optimal
  configuration of Kubernetes clusters for security best practices
• 16. Vendor Management Reviewing and defining SLA with various
  security vendors, Managing & Tracking of defined SLAs
• 17. Ensure uptime of Platform Infrastructure

Preferred candidate profile:

• 1. At least 4-7 years of DevSecOps and cloud operations experience in a
  high-tech environment with an overall 6-10 of years of experience in
  the IT
• 2. 3+ years of recent AWS experience
• 3. Strong understanding of DevOps and Agile practices
• 4. Hands-on experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD Pipeline, Terraform
  ,Kubernetes, Docker, EKS, Database
• 5. Experience with the configuration and implementation of IaaS, PaaS
  and Infrastructure as Code
• 6. Knowledge of SQL and RDBMS, NoSQL technologies.
• 7. Should be able to manage project scoping, planning, management,
  and execution
• 8. Should have good communication skills written, verbal, vendor co-
  ordination
• 9. Should have good documentation skills Define guidelines, policies &
  procedures
• 10. Responsibilities require sometimes to work during late
  hours/holidays and with short notice.
