Good co India is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and DevOps solutions. You will develop, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines across AWS/Azure/GCP, using Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm to automate builds, tests, deployments, and releases.

You will implement IaC, monitor systems with Prometheus and Grafana, and uphold security with IAM and DevSecOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field.
• 5–10 years of DevOps/cloud engineering experience.
• Hands-on with at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Proven CI/CD development, deployment automation, and release management.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration.
• Strong IaC skills (Terraform; Ansible).
• Proficiency in Linux, scripting (Python, Bash).
• Experience with monitoring, logging, observability for production.
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, DevSecOps.
• Experience in incident management, root cause analysis, DR planning.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and cross-functional collaboration.
• Leadership, mentoring, and driving automation initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with dev, QA, security, and IT to improve release frequency and stability.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure and DevOps solutions.
• Develop, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and related technologies.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and operational tasks using Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack.
• Implement cloud security controls, identity and access management (IAM), secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and DevSecOps best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, application deployment, networking, and production performance issues.
• Drive incident management, root cause analysis, disaster recovery planning, and service reliability improvements.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization, infrastructure performance, and operational costs.
• Collaborate with software development, QA, security, and operations teams to improve deployment frequency and system stability.
• Establish and maintain infrastructure standards, automation frameworks, technical documentation, and operational runbooks.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct technical reviews, and promote DevOps best practices across engineering teams.
• Evaluate emerging tools and technologies to improve automation, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, site reliability engineering (SRE), or infrastructure automation.
• Strong hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proven expertise in CI/CD pipeline development, deployment automation, and release management using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform, and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
• Proficiency in Linux administration, networking fundamentals, Git, Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions for production systems.
• Good understanding of cloud security, IAM, network security, secrets management, and DevSecOps principles.
• Experience managing production environments, troubleshooting critical incidents, and conducting root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of high availability, scalability, backup strategies, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, change management, and IT service management processes.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to independently lead technical initiatives, manage priorities, and deliver reliable infrastructure solutions.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers, driving automation initiatives, and leading continuous improvement projects is highly desirable.
• Relevant cloud, Kubernetes, or DevOps certifications are an added advantage.
